Trump says he will testify in New York business fraud trial ‘at the appropriate time’

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday stated that he plans to testify at the New York trial accusing him of partaking in a yearslong sample of large business fraud.

Trump advised reporters throughout a break on the second day of the trial that he will take the witness stand “at the appropriate time.”

He is called as a possible witness on lists submitted by his personal attorneys, and by attorneys for New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose $250 million lawsuit is the topic of the trial.

Trump has steadily attacked James, in addition to Judge Arthur Engoron, who’s conducting the trial with no jury.

On Tuesday, Trump focused Engoron’s principal regulation clerk by sharing a social media put up that included her full identify and a photograph of her posing with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., as they each smiled.
