DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The United Arab Emirates says it has intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile that was fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels over an uninhabited space.
The UAE’s Ministry of Defense stated Monday morning’s attack didn’t trigger any losses, and the nation’s civil aviation authority added that civil air operations at the moment are again to regular.
“There had been no casualties ensuing from the attack and the fragments of the ballistic missile fell exterior of populated areas,” the protection ministry stated in an announcement.
It added: “The UAE air defence forces and the Coalition Command had succeeded in destroying the missile launcher in Yemen after figuring out places of the websites.”
