The Supreme Court on Monday refused to listen to an appeal by the social media big X challenging a ban on the corporate disclosing federal surveillance of Americans and overseas nationals utilizing the service.
X, previously generally known as Twitter, had argued that the federal authorities’s prohibition on the corporate disclosing the receipt of nationwide security-related surveillance for customers was unconstitutional.
X is owned by the billionaire Elon Musk, who additionally heads Tesla and SpaceX.
The Supreme Court didn’t clarify why it declined to take X’s appeal, nor did it reveal which and what number of justices may need wished to take the case.
