These satellites can be (*100*) “Alpha” variant prototypes in the “Tranche 2 Transport Layer” constellation, often known as T2TL-Alpha, to present encrypted communications.

Under the T2TL-Alpha awards, Northrop Grumman will construct 38 “knowledge transport” satellites (*100*) $732 million, whereas York will construct 62 satellites (*100*) $617 million. The SDA’s schedule is (*100*) the T2TL satellites to start launching in 2026.
