A New Hampshire man was arrested on a cost of threatening to kill the Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and his supporters at a marketing campaign occasion within the state, the Department of Justice stated Monday.
The man, Tyler Anderson, final week allegedly responded to a Ramaswamy marketing campaign textual content message a few meet-and-greet breakfast in Portsmouth on Monday with a death threat to the candidate and “everybody who attends,” in accordance to an affidavit hooked up to the felony criticism.
“Great, one other alternative for me to blow his brains out!” the 30-year-old Anderson wrote in response to the marketing campaign textual content, the affidavit stated.
The candidate just isn’t named within the charging doc filed in opposition to the Dover resident in U.S. District Court in New Hampshire.
But his marketing campaign confirmed he was the goal of the threat.

After his arrest, Anderson admitted to police that he despatched threatening messages to the candidate and “a number of different campaigns,” the affidavit stated.
Federal brokers on Saturday obtained a search warrant for Anderson’s residence to seize his Samsung Galaxy smartphone and “firearms positioned on the premises,” an FBI agent wrote within the felony criticism affidavit.
It is unclear what sort of weapons had been alleged to be within the residence, or in the event that they had been seized within the search.
